Job Description

Primary Objective & Scope of Position: 

Responsible for overall leadership and collaboration to improve information flow to support the client brand. Establishes the technical budgetary and performance controls.  Oversees all technical activities, corporate policies and technical standards to support and advance the business – while always reflecting the deep rooted client values, mission statement and principles.    


 Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

Management of Employee Experience Team Workflow

  • Information Strategy – Sets technical direction in hardware, software & network and applies mechanisms to ensure security and system continuity for organization.
  • New Information – Researches, identifies, develops, and/or acquires technical systems and software that adds value and is in alignment with business plan.
  • Maintains Information – Ensures Information Systems are monitored, supported and available to minimize business process interruptions.  Ensures “Disaster Planning” measures are in place for information security and business continuity.
  • Retire Information – Ensures retired information is archived in compliance with standards and set timelines. 
  • Financial Management - Responsible for overseeing departmental budget. Oversees and approves use of contract services, while ensuring minimal costs or operational delays.

People Development

  • Create an experience for each and every employee that inspires passion in their work, their team and the client brand; engaging in client success, putting discretionary effort toward creating a positive customer experience.

Communication and Leadership

  • Use and support the operating excellence tools: strategy A3’s, work structure, tactical plans, meeting compass & problem solving documents.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the Cabinet (client executives) as a team first and individually with each person.
  • Collaborate with other individuals and teams to complete tasks and facilitate improvement projects.
  • Participate and lead defined meetings for Cabinet and functional team meetings.
  • Own functional team vendor relationships through a defined meeting cadence and supplier scorecard.
  • Be visible to all teams and all employees.
  • Be available on a consulting level to our franchise group.

Measurements and Reporting

  • Create monthly Key Result Areas report. Tell the story of what results we achieved, why the results were ahead / behind target and what is being worked on to make them better.
  • Review and check direct reports key result areas. Be a resource to direct & align measurements through each level of the team.
  • Financial management – oversees the departmental budget.

Non-Essential Functions

  • Maintains a safe and insurable driving record that allows for driving of personal vehicle to conduct company business.






Knowledge & Education Requirements: 


Bachelor’s Degree in related field and seven to ten years of related experience; or equivalent combination of training, education and experience.



Physical Demands/Work Environment/Equipment:        


Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and utilize senses such as vision, speech and hearing. Work primarily within a climatically-controlled office environment.  Travel is required.


Reasoning Ability/Mental Effort: 


Ability to define problems, collect, analyzes and interprets data to draw valid conclusions and apply them to the organization’s needs. Exercises sound judgment and discretion in keeping with our brand and corporate values. Demonstration of intermediate math skills.
