Our client seeks a Warehouse Manager who will establish clear communication between leadership and employees. This will include prioritizing duties, directing your team in unloading/loading trucks, picking materials, staging, organizing, and cleaning the warehouse as needed.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Train and develop warehouse team.
- Accurate inventory of all parts & equipment added, taken, & returned to the warehouse.
- Pick materials for upcoming jobs and stage in the warehouse.
- Assist field employees in loading and unloading their trucks on a daily basis.
- If there is truck restock, make sure it gets to the proper truck in a timely fashion.
- Receiving - unload shipments, check-in materials, and put them away in the correct location in the warehouse.
- Returns - make sure they are written up and returned to a wholesaler in a timely manner.
- Assist with the Tool Room by keeping track of assigned tools.
- Check tools when they are returned for condition and repair so they are always in good working order.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Pick up parts/equipment from wholesalers and bring them to job sites.
- Deliver material from warehouse to jobsites.
- Manage paperwork—purchase orders, picks, and confirmations. In a timely manner, turn over POs and completed picks to others.
- Review the calendar daily to make sure everything is prepped for upcoming days.
- Oversee & direct annual inventory count in December.
Required Skills & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prefer warehouse type experience.
- Management experience.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in computing general business math.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 60lbs.
- Must possess an MN DOT license.
