2025 Minnesota Community Involvement

At Versique Executive, Professional & Interim Recruiting, Minnesota community involvement is something we believe in deeply. It is part of who we are, and it brings our team together in a meaningful way. Throughout 2025, our employees volunteered their time, shared their talents, and supported organizations that are creating real impact across Minnesota. From raising money for local nonprofits to helping students build confidence to gathering essential supplies for families, this year reminded us how powerful it can be when people show up for one another.

Here is a look at our Minnesota community involvement and the impact we created together in 2025.

Polar Plunge Mn - Minnesota Community Involvement

February: Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Minnesota

In February, our team participated in the Polar Plunge and raised $2,215 for Special Olympics Minnesota. The organization creates opportunities for children and adults with intellectual disabilities to experience belonging, friendship, and the joy of sport. It was a fun and freezing way to kick off our year of giving.

April: Maple Grove Senior High Mock Interviews

In April, Versique volunteers met with students at Maple Grove Senior High for mock interviews. These conversations help students practice communication skills, feel more prepared for future job searches, and learn from professionals who genuinely want to see them succeed.

May: Power of People in Support of Dress for Success Twin Cities

In May, our annual Power of People event raised more than $102,000 for Dress for Success Twin Cities. The organization supports women through career coaching, professional attire, and a strong community of encouragement. It was a night filled with generosity and meaningful connection.

Simon Says Give - Minnesota Community Involvement

July: School Supply Packing with Simon Says Give

In July, our Corporate Services team supported Simon Says Give by packing school supply kits for students who may not have the resources to start the year prepared. This work helps remove a barrier and gives kids a more confident start to the school year. Their mission is rooted in “Kids Celebrating Kids” and focuses on helping children through birthday celebrations, school supplies, and youth-led service.

August: Children’s Minnesota Joy Drop

In August, Versique delivered 98 toys to Children’s Minnesota as part of their Joy Drop. Additional toys were donated online, so the total impact is even greater. Children’s Minnesota provides specialized care and support for kids and families, and this small gesture helps bring comfort during a challenging time.

September: Dress for Success Twin Cities + Shakopee Women’s Prison Partnership

In September, we partnered with Dress for Success Twin Cities and the Minnesota Department of Corrections for a Community Impact event at Shakopee Women’s Prison. Our volunteers conducted mock interviews with women preparing to re-enter the workforce. The experience offered encouragement, confidence building, and meaningful support for women working to create new opportunities for themselves. Partnerships like this remain central to our Minnesota community involvement efforts.

October: Free Bikes 4 Kidz and Birthdays for Ben

Free Bikes 4 Kidz Minnesota - Minnesota Community Involvement

In October, our team held a donation drive in support of Free Bikes 4 Kidz Minnesota. This effort was especially meaningful because Sarah Lewis, Vice President of IT Solutions, joined the organization’s Board of Directors this year and helped champion our involvement. The bikes collected through this drive will be refurbished and donated to kids across Minnesota. Final totals will be shared once available.

Also in October, our team created 26 birthday boxes through Simon Says Give’s Birthdays for Ben program. These boxes help children feel celebrated on their special day, even when their families may be facing hardship.

November: Harvest From the Heart Food Drive

In November, our team gathered food and essential items for Harvest from the Heart. This effort felt especially important because many families were facing gaps in support as SNAP benefits were running out. Harvest from the Heart helps fill that void by providing meals and pantry staples to households that need extra support.

December: Toys for Tots and Thielen Foundation Yoga Supply Drive

Toys For Tots - Minnesota Community Involvement

In December, we supported two year-end initiatives.

Toys for Tots has a special tie to Versique through Nicole Biczkowski, whose family has hosted a Toys for Tots Party for forty years. This tradition began with her parents and has grown into a meaningful community effort that has provided more than 14,000 toys to local kids, including nearly 1,100 toys last year alone. We are proud to support a tradition that has brought joy to so many families over the decades.

We also supported the Thielen Foundation Yoga Supply Drive, which helps expand access to youth wellness initiatives and provides equipment for programs designed to build confidence, physical health, and mental well-being. Final totals for both drives will be shared once they are complete.

Why Minnesota Community Involvement Matters

Versique’s commitment to Minnesota community involvement is more than a tradition. It is something our team genuinely loves to do. Giving back brings us closer together, grounds us in purpose, and reminds us why serving others matters. Thank you to every employee who volunteered, donated, organized, encouraged, and participated this year. Thank you to every nonprofit partner who welcomed us into their work and allowed us to make a difference alongside them.

Together, we are building a stronger Minnesota.
