Do you love diving into data and making a real impact on how companies pay and reward their people? This is an exciting opportunity to lead compensation strategy, shape competitive programs, and partner closely with leadership in a role that combines analytics, influence, and strategic thinking.

Seeking a hands-on, data-driven Compensation Partner who's passionate about creating fair, competitive, and scalable compensation programs. In this role, you'll dive into market trends, work closely with HR and business leaders, and help shape the way we reward and recognize talent across the company. From day-to-day processes, such as job evaluations and salary budgets, to larger-scale strategy and program design, you'll play a key role in ensuring that pay practices support both the people and the business goals.

 

Location: Eden Prairie, MN or Appleton, WI

Salary Range: 100,000 - $125,000/yr + Bonus

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Review current compensation policies to determine their financial impact on the business.
  • Roll out salary and hourly pay guidelines to make sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Help launch new or updated comp programs that align with where the company's headed.
  • Keep things on track with base pay, bonuses, raises, and promotions.
  • Prepare the annual budget for both hourly and salaried compensation.
  • Stay on top of market trends and data, and flag any areas that may require accelerated efforts.
  • Be the go-to person for leaders when they have questions about pay decisions, policies, or job levels.
  • Partner with the Human Capital Ops team to stay informed on what competitors are paying.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners to develop fair and competitive job offers.
  • Evaluate jobs, gather market data, and keep our salary surveys and insights up to date.
  • Support team reorganizations by advising on comp changes, job updates, and employee transitions.
  • Own and update job descriptions in Workday and on their shared HR site.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience working with compensation plans, policies, and compliance initiatives is required.
