Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Director of International Reporting to oversee global financial reporting and IFRS-to-U.S. GAAP conversion for the organization’s multinational operations. The ideal candidate will have a Big 4 background (6+ years, including Manager level experience), deep knowledge of IFRS, experience auditing public companies, and strong technical skills in IFRS-to-U.S. GAAP conversion. This role also includes critical responsibilities in the preparation and review of 10-Q and 10-K filings to ensure accurate SEC compliance and disclosure.
This role will lead and collaborate across international subsidiaries to support consolidated reporting, audit readiness, and public company reporting, and be a key contributor to maintaining the integrity of the organization’s global financial statements.
Worksite Location: This hybrid position is in St Louis Park, MN.
Salary: $140k - $180k/yr. base salary plus annual bonus

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial results from international subsidiaries in compliance with IFRS and other international accounting standards
- Manage the conversion of financial statements from IFRS/other international accounting standards to U.S. GAAP, including identifying key differences and preparing necessary adjustments
- Review supporting workpapers for consolidation and external reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Serve as a key reviewer and contributor to 10-Q and 10-K filings, including footnote disclosures related to international operations, foreign subsidiaries, and IFRS-to-GAAP adjustments
- Collaborate with external auditors and international subsidiaries to support quarterly and annual audit processes
- Provide technical accounting guidance on IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and complex transactions impacting international entities
- Support SOX compliance by evaluating and strengthening internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) across international subsidiaries
- Coordinate with controllers and finance leads at international subsidiaries to ensure consistency, policy alignment, and timely reporting
- Research complex accounting issues and prepare technical accounting memorandums, documenting positions under IFRS or other international accounting standards and U.S GAAP
- Monitor changes in international accounting standards and assess their impact on company reporting
- Other 10Q, 10K, and reporting duties as requested
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, Master’s degree preferred
- CPA certification (active and in good standing)
- 6+ years of Big 4 public accounting experience, including at least 2 years at the Manager level or above
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience with converting financials from IFRS to U.S. GAAP
- Experience auditing publicly traded companies and familiarity with SEC reporting requirements
- Demonstrated ability to review complex financial workpapers and external filings (10-Q, 10-K)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
