This role is crucial in driving process improvements, ensuring optimal plant performance, and supporting production teams to meet operational goals. The successful candidate will play a key role in continuously improving the batch polyester resin processes, leveraging their engineering expertise and problem-solving skills to enhance the safety, quality, and productivity of our plant.
Salary Range: $90-110k/yr. DOQ
Location: This is an on-site position in a suburb of Tulsa, OK.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
- Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Collect and analyze data to identify process trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
- Lead initiatives to enhance production workflows, reduce waste, and improve yield
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is functioning at optimal performance levels
- Manage capital improvement projects, from concept through implementation, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
- Ensure all processes comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Support the training of production staff on new equipment, processes, and safety protocols
- Assists with leadership of Process Safety Management (PSM) programs
Required Skills & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
- 5-7+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of process control systems, instrumentation, and troubleshooting
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
- Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar process improvement certifications
- Proficient in various software, including MiniTab, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office programs.
