Versique Executive Places Matt Krause as Chief Operating Officer at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center
Minneapolis, MN – Versique Executive is pleased to announce the placement of Matt Krause as Chief Operating Officer at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, Minnesota. Krause joined the organization in January 2025 following a nationwide executive search conducted in close partnership with CRMC CEO Amy Hart.
Krause brings deep experience in rural health system leadership, most recently serving as Chief Administrative Officer for Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital and Clinics in Laurium, Michigan. In that role, he provided executive oversight for a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, four outpatient clinics, and more than 260 employees.
Under his leadership, Aspirus Keweenaw achieved the #1 staff satisfaction ranking among 21 sites in the Aspirus Health system in 2023, with top three rankings across three consecutive years and consistently exceeded staff retention and net revenue goals.
Krause’s background also includes leadership roles with OSF HealthCare and UP Health System in Michigan, where he developed a reputation for operational excellence, employee engagement and strong community integration.
