
Laura King Speaks at BMA-MN Young Professionals How-to-Happy Hour

July 8, 2016 – Senior Digital Marketing Recruiter, Laura King, recently spoke at the Minnesota Business Marketing Association’s How-to Happy Hour, hosted at Insight Brewing in Minneapolis. Laura’s presentation was titled “How to Bring Value to Networking Events” and detailed best practices for how to prepare for a networking event, how to approach and leave groups gracefully, as well as how to add value to the conversations they have.
The goal of this event was to teach attendees, “how to become connectors, not just business card collectors.” Along with Laura, Courtney Howard, a Business Performance Advisor at Insperity, also spoke at the event.
