The Director of Investor Relations is responsible for ensuring the company is appropriately and strategically positioned with analysts, investors, and all stakeholders. This position will also assist in shaping the overall business strategy. This position is also responsible for creating the appropriate strategy, framework, and tactics, as well as for providing a very compelling investor relations roadmap. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. It also requires the ability to carefully manage relationships outside the company in the equity research and investor community. This role provides a unique opportunity to collaborate directly with the CEO and CFO, as well as other members of the Executive Leadership Team.

Salary Range: The total compensation target is $250,000 – $270,000/yr.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and the investment community: Act as the main point of contact for institutional and retail investors, analysts, and other stakeholders. Respond to inquiries, maintain strong relationships, and effectively communicate the company's financial and strategic positioning.
- Lead the preparation and execution of quarterly earnings communications: Oversee the development of earnings call scripts, Q&A briefings, investor presentations, and earnings releases. Coordinate with senior executives to ensure the messaging aligns with corporate strategy and accurately reflects financial performance.
- Develop and sustain relationships within the equity research and investment community: Build credibility and trust with buy- and sell-side analysts through proactive engagement, consistent messaging, and timely information sharing. Facilitate analyst meetings and coverage and ensure the company's story is well understood.
- Track market sentiment, peer performance, and investor activity: Continuously monitor financial markets, competitor performance, investor holdings, and macroeconomic trends. Synthesize insights into actionable intelligence to inform leadership decisions and strategic planning.
- Deliver actionable insights to executive leadership: Provide the C-suite and Board with market feedback, peer comparisons, investor sentiment summaries, and performance benchmarking. Offer recommendations to shape investor messaging and capital markets strategy.
- Ensure cross-functional coordination and regulatory compliance: Work closely with legal, finance, accounting, and corporate communications teams to ensure all disclosures are SEC-compliant and aligned with internal reporting and external messaging standards.
- Plan and execute investor events and materials: Lead the development and execution of investor days, roadshows, earnings calls, and related engagements. Ensure all investor-facing materials, presentations, reports, and Q&As are accurate, consistent, and professionally delivered, reflecting clear messaging and executive alignment.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or Accounting - 10+ years of investor relations experience
- Strong understanding of SEC laws and disclosure requirements
- Proficiency in valuation techniques and capital market analysis
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
