The E-Commerce Merchandising Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of online product and content presentation. This role ensures that every item, image, and description is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand standards, driving conversion and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced digital environment.
Worksite Location: Minneapolis – 2 days onsite/3 days remote each week.
Pay Range: Up to $95K/year salary. No C2C or work visa sponsorship available.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Product Merchandising & Content Management
- Manage all written and visual product content, including product listings, category pages, and related digital materials.
- Oversee new product launches and updates, ensuring names, specifications, pricing, and images are complete and accurate.
- Maintain existing product data for consistency, optimization, and alignment with brand tone and visual guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that technical product details and pricing logic are accurately reflected online.
- Optimize product and category presentation to improve user experience and drive sales performance.
Documentation & Content Accuracy
- Coordinate creation and maintenance of product documentation, including installation guides, care instructions, and specifications.
- Partner with technical and operations teams to verify the accuracy of supporting materials.
- Organize, tag, and maintain documentation libraries and content files within the CMS or digital asset management system.
Vendor & Partner Collaboration
- Work with external agencies and freelancers to support merchandising, copywriting, and creative projects.
- Manage project budgets, deliverables, and schedules to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with digital marketing partners to align merchandising efforts with SEO, paid media, and promotional campaigns.
Optimization & Performance Reporting
- Conduct regular content and site audits to ensure accuracy, proper categorization, and strong merchandising execution.
- Review analytics and key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement in product presentation and conversion rates.
- Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal refreshes with timely content updates.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in eCommerce merchandising, product content management, or digital retail operations.
- Proven success in managing large product catalogs and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience with CMS and eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, or similar).
- Working knowledge of SEO, digital merchandising best practices, and performance metrics.
- Experience managing external vendors, agencies, or freelancers.
- Excellent communication skills, time management, and ability to work independently with precision and accountability.
