The General Manager of our client's New Richmond facility will lead, support, and direct the efforts of the Business Unit. This role will directly manage a team consisting of customer service and sales. This position will serve as a key member of the company's leadership team, developing strategic and tactical plans to achieve overall company goals.
In this role, you should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, team-centered environment that will challenge you and allow you to use your experience and expertise to develop a highly effective and productive team to ensure continued growth and achievement of company goals.

Salary Range: Total compensation $200K +

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed company financial and non-financial objectives
- Participate in the Leadership Team to develop strategies aimed at creating and executing strategies to achieve company goals
- Lead the New Richmond leadership team, serving as a resource to further enhance sales and marketing skill sets. Provide a base for internal growth and development for those leaders who can flourish in a competitive market environment
- Take the lead in finding new business opportunities, accelerating company growth, and margin enhancement opportunities
- Develop nutritional expertise within the team to further enhance the company as a market leader
- Collaborate on ideas and share species expertise within the team, by ensuring team members work together, sharing their expertise and experiences with the team
- Lead the individual goal-setting process
- Lead ongoing discussions on market conditions, potential market risk, market opportunities, and share best of the best results to enhance business opportunities
- Be an effective mentor and coach, helping to develop team members
- Ability to critically evaluate team members on their established goals and objectives, providing regular feedback to enhance their business objectives
Required Skills & Experience
- B.S. or M.S. in Animal Science, Agriculture, Economics, Business, Sales and Marketing, or related field
- Qualified and proven experience, instead of educational requirements, will be considered
- 5 or more years' experience in nutritional sales and people management
- Ability to build a collaborative, motivating environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a team setting and one-on-one meetings
- Strong negotiating and decision-making skills
- Technical and computer-related skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and industry software
- Ability to spot potential opportunities and capitalize on those opportunities
