Our client is seeking a Head of Operations to drive strategy and execution across ICHRA Account Management and Implementation, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional client retention. The Head of Operations is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of ICHRA Account Management and Implementation, ensuring best-in-class service delivery and client retention. This key role will oversee a growing team, build scalable processes, and drive operational excellence to deliver exceptional experiences for employers, employees, and brokers. This position is ideal for someone with strong operations leadership experience in employee benefits who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Worksite Location: This position is in St Paul, MN.

Salary: $110k - $160k salary plus bonus

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Provide oversight and guidance for a growing team of 7+ FTE, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance
  • Scalable Growth: Develop and implement a hiring and cross-training model that supports rapid organizational growth.
  • Operational Infrastructure: Build upon existing systems and processes to create scalable, efficient account renewal and client service models
  • Metrics & Performance: Define, refine, and track KPIs focused on client retention and satisfaction, ensuring teams consistently meet or exceed goals
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and optimize workflows across Account Management & Implementation; leverage data and analytics for sound decision-making
  • Automation & Technology: Identify opportunities for process automation, collaborating with product and engineering teams to implement effective solutions
  • Client Experience: Mitigate escalations when needed and provide executive-level oversight during sensitive conversations with employers and brokers
  • Sales Collaboration: Partner with Sales to ensure smooth handoffs from new client sales into implementation
  • Training & Development: Ensure teams have comprehensive product knowledge, ongoing training, and continuous learning opportunities

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is required
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years leading Account Management and/or Operations, ideally in the employee benefits space
  • Leadership: Proven success in leading, coaching, and scaling high-performing teams
  • Organizational Strength: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven with strong project management skills
  • Process Builder: Experience creating and implementing scalable processes from the ground up
  • Customer Focus: Strong client support and relationship management skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Mindset: Hands-on leader with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
