Interim Brand & Communications Leader – Healthcare/SaaS (ID:47385)
We're seeking a strategic, high-energy Brand and Communications Leader to join our Marketing and Operations teams on a 3-4 month interim contract, with potential for extension or transition into a permanent role. Reporting to the CMO, this Brand and Communications Leader will collaborate closely with leadership and key go-to-market teams to refine and elevate the company's story, messaging, and brand presence. Driving growth through new customer acquisition, existing client retention, and overall market impact.
This Brand and Communications Leader comes at a pivotal time for the organization, aligning with the launch of AI-driven solutions and a major brand/messaging refresh, culminating in a flagship event scheduled for early 2026.
Worksite Location: Remote, with preference given to candidates in Minneapolis, MN, Nashville, TN, or Chicago, IL.
Occasional travel and/or proximity to one of the company's US Offices.
Salary Range: Hourly rate between $90–$110, DOE.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive brand and communications plan, with particular focus on the near-term, in partnership with leaders across Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Digital, Creative Services, Corporate Communications (PR/social), Customer Engagement, and Events.
- Collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Client Success, and Revenue Enablement to further refine brand and solution messaging.
- Build a detailed messaging framework that captures target audiences, ICPs, solution types, and key communication channels.
- Partner with stakeholders on execution and deployment of communications initiatives, ensuring consistency and maximizing impact across campaigns and events, including a major company-owned event in early 2026.
- Track performance of communication efforts, assess results, and recommend improvements based on measurable outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years leading marketing, brand, and/or communications functions in a digital-first B2B or B2B2C SaaS environment, experience in healthcare, healthtech, or other regulated industries a plus.
- Executive-level experience (VP or Senior Director) preferred.
- Proven success in strategic storytelling, brand transformation, and go-to-market execution.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or contribute to a brand refresh centered around innovation, trust, and customer value.
- Strategic, proactive, and hands-on leader with a collaborative mindset.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, able to tailor complex messages across multiple audiences and channels.
- Strong understanding of multi-channel campaign development, deployment, and ROI measurement.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-priority, resource-conscious environment.
- Confident executive presence and an ability to influence cross-functional teams.
