The Interim HR Generalist will provide on-site HR support across employee relations, leave management, onboarding, and administrative HR tasks while a team member is on leave. Reporting to the HR Manager and working closely with the HR team, this consultant will serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, support leave administration through a third-party vendor, and help ensure continuity of HR operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Worksite Location: Onsite, Brooklyn Park, MN

Salary Range: Hourly rate between $35–$45, DOE

Roles & Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, partnering with HR Managers on escalations
Support leave management processes and coordinate with third-party administrator
Provide backup support for weekly onboarding activities
Assist with HR administrative tasks, documentation, and reporting
Partner closely with HR Managers to support daily HR operations in a manufacturing environment
Respond to urgent HR needs, demonstrating flexibility to adjust hours as required

Required Skills & Experience:

Prior experience in an HR Generalist or similar role, ideally within manufacturing or a 24/7 operation
Experience handling employee relations matters at a first-pass level
Familiarity with leave management processes and third-party leave administrators
Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail
Comfortable working onsite full time with flexibility to support early mornings or extended hours as needed
Experience with ADP Advantage and Microsoft tools preferred
