The Interim HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing HR operations, ensuring seamless execution of open enrollment, supporting hiring and onboarding, preparing for new MN Paid Leave requirements, and maintaining effective communication with employees. This is a part-time, flexible role providing essential stability to the HR function during backfill.
Worksite Location: Hybrid - at least 1 day/week on-site in Minneapolis, MN office. Part-time position.
Salary Range: Hourly rate between $45-$55, DOE

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Administer and execute open enrollment (no plan changes; focus on employee communication and administration)
- Prepare for compliance with Minnesota Paid Family and Medical Leave requirements
- Oversee the performance review process launching in November
- Manage hiring and onboarding processes as needed (currently, only the HR Manager role is open)
- Provide general HR guidance and support for staff and leadership during transition
Required Skills & Experience:
- HR leadership experience in a small HR team or an HR team of one
- Strong background in benefits administration, particularly open enrollment
- Familiarity with Minnesota Paid Family and Medical Leave requirements
- Experience in hiring, onboarding, and performance management processes
- Ability to balance both strategic and hands-on HR responsibilities
