This HR consultant will oversee end-to-end HR responsibilities, including employee relations, compliance, leaves of absence, and performance management. They will also help enhance HR systems (Paylocity), establish efficient processes, and develop programs to support employee growth and engagement.
Worksite Location: Hybrid – occasional onsite presence in the Minneapolis, MN office.
Salary Range: Hourly rate between $65-$80, DOE.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and tactical HR expertise across compliance, employee relations, and performance management
- Mentor and advise the HR Manager on key initiatives and projects
- Guide HRIS optimization, with focus on Paylocity modules (performance management, recruiting, automation)
- Support talent development, including career progression programs
- Advise leadership on complex employee issues and organizational growth needs
- Ensure HR programs are aligned with organizational culture and values
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience leading HR functions in small, fast-paced, growing organizations
- Strong HR compliance knowledge and hands-on expertise in employee relations, leaves, and performance management
- HRIS optimization experience (Paylocity preferred)
- Ability to mentor HR professionals and act as a trusted advisor to leadership
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
