We seek a dedicated and experienced LOA Consultant to join a dynamic team focused on delivering exceptional support and solutions for leave of absence cases. This role involves managing high volumes of leave requests, maintaining compliance with employment laws, and providing compassionate guidance to employees navigating the leave process.

Worksite Location: Eden Prairie, MN – Hybrid Opportunity; Seeking MN based candidates. 

Salary Range: Hourly rate between $40-$48, DOE.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate support for all leave requests by reviewing documentation, determining eligibility, and managing statutory leave cases.
• Partner with external vendors for standard FMLA requests while managing complex cases internally, ensuring seamless transitions and comprehensive case handling.
• Stay informed of current legislation and apply it to all leave processes to ensure full compliance with FMLA, statutory leave regulations, and other employment laws.
• Use Workday for efficient leave administration, ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and seamless record management.
• Provide empathetic support to employees, listening actively to their concerns, communicating processes clearly, and guiding them through challenging situations.
• Maintain thorough documentation for all leave cases, execute tasks promptly, and follow up diligently to ensure smooth resolution.

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience managing high volumes of leave cases, including FMLA and statutory leaves.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and leave regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to provide compassionate and confidential support.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous approach to documentation and follow-up.
• Proficiency in Workday or similar HRIS for leave management.
