In this role, you will manage the day-to-day administration of leaves of absence, serving as the primary resource for employees and leadership on LOA-related matters. You will coordinate with an external LOA vendor, track and resolve duplicate or complex cases, and ensure compliance with leave policies and regulations. The consultant will also support accommodation requests and help reduce administrative burden on HR leadership, providing guidance, structure, and consistency to leave processes across the organization.
Worksite Location: Bloomington, MN – Hybrid; onsite Mondays & Wednesdays, remote Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Salary Range: Hourly rate between $40-$50, DOE

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day LOA administration and employee communication
• Partner with leadership to offload workload and ensure compliance
• Coordinate with the external LOA vendor for case management and process improvement
• Track, monitor, and resolve duplicate or complex LOA cases
• Support accommodation requests and ensure alignment with HR policies and regulations
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong understanding of LOA rules, regulations, and best practices
• Experience managing LOAs with an outsourced vendor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for compassionate employee interactions
• Ability to manage high volume, complex cases while maintaining accuracy
• Familiarity with Workday and Broadspire is a plus, but not required
• Self-directed, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
