Interim Organizational Development & Leadership Consultant

As an Interim Organization Development & Leadership Consultant, you’ll support a highly respected health system by advancing performance management, leadership development, and talent calibration efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is strategic, organized, and comfortable partnering closely with HR leaders and senior stakeholders.

The Organizational Development & Leadership Consultant will support and advance key OD and leadership initiatives while a team member transitions into a new role. Partnering closely with HR leadership, HRBPs, and the OD team, this consultant will lead the launch of a revised performance management process, refresh current leadership initiatives, and facilitate talent calibration and succession planning efforts across manager through VP populations. This role will play a critical role in shaping leadership effectiveness and long-term talent strategy heading into 2026.

Worksite Location: Minneapolis, MN - Hybrid

Salary Range: Hourly rate between $50–$60, DOE

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the launch and execution of a revised, year-long Performance Management process for 2026
  • Refresh and update the current Leadership process curriculum, structure, and materials
  • Facilitate talent calibration and succession planning for approximately 200 employees
  • Tech-savvy skills such as leveraging Excel for analysis & reporting, managing Adobe PDFs for editing forms and document updates, and refining presentation materials using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Support ongoing OD initiatives and provide consultative guidance to leaders

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience leading performance management processes and enterprise rollouts
  • Strong background in leadership development, including program refresh or redesign
  • Experience facilitating talent calibration and succession planning at manager through executive levels
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed HR environment
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, including Slide Masters and template management
  • Ability to develop, refine, and present materials, tools, and resources
  • Organized, consultative, and comfortable operating in a nonprofit, mission-driven culture focused on family-centered care
