Interim Senior HR Coordinator (ID:47417)

The Interim Senior HR Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting daily HR operations and managing the HRIS. The Senior HR Coordinator will provide comprehensive HR support and serve as a key administrative partner to the HR Director. This role will help lead a range of HR processes from payroll coordination to maintaining HR systems and reports. A strong consultant for this role will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, builds trust easily, and enjoys a mix of administrative and project-based work.

Worksite Location: Onsite – downtown Minneapolis (parking validated).

Salary Range: Hourly rate between $40–$45, DOE.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Partner with HR Director to prepare and review biweekly payroll through Paylocity, reconciling discrepancies and coordinating with third-party administrators

• Administer employee benefits, including open enrollment, invoice reconciliation, 401(k) processing, and leave management

• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation scheduling, background checks, system setup, and exit interviews

• Serve as HRIS administrator—maintain accurate data, run reports, and ensure compliance with recordkeeping and audit requirements

• Support recruitment efforts by posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters

• Assist with compliance-related reporting, such as EEO-1, ACA, and Affirmative Action requirements

• Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures with professionalism and discretion

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support HR communications, training coordination, and employee engagement activities

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of HR experience, including payroll and benefits administration

• Proficiency with Paylocity and strong HRIS reporting skills

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills

• Experience handling confidential information with discretion

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
