We are seeking an IT Supply Chain Analytics Data Engineer to lead and support supply chain-focused data initiatives. In this role, you'll design data pipelines and develop dimensional data models that power advanced reporting and visualization tools. You'll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into actionable insights that improve supply chain planning capabilities.

Location: Onsite, Southern Minnesota

  • 4 days onsite / 1 day remote – weekly

Pay Range:

  • $95-135K salary

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with supply chain stakeholders, data scientists, and BI analysts to identify data needs and translate them into scalable solutions
  • Design and maintain physical and logical data models across staging, warehouse, and semantic layers
  • Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as SQL, Python, Informatica, and Incorta
  • Leverage Google BigQuery Dataprocs to manage and optimize data movement from various systems into enterprise models
  • Tune performance of SQL queries and ETL processes to support high-volume workloads and ensure efficient processing
  • Orchestrate data loads using scheduled batch and mini-batch techniques
  • Provide support, maintenance, and enhancement of existing data solutions across various business units
  • Create clean, well-organized dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau and Oracle BI with user-friendly design and optimized performance
  • Enable data transparency by walking stakeholders through report logic and metric definitions

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 1 year of supporting data needs within supply chain planning environments
  • 5+ years of SQL development experience
  • 5+ years in data engineering or data warehousing roles, including dimensional modeling
  • 5+ years building ETL pipelines in Python, Informatica, or Google Cloud Dataproc
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience gathering detailed business and technical requirements
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Independent problem-solving mindset with a track record of initiative

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with supply chain data, including manufacturing, inventory, logistics, and procurement
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and planning tools
  • 3+ years building dashboards and visualizations in platforms like Tableau, Oracle BI, or Google Cloud
  • Experience integrating Incorta with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications
  • Exposure to Google Cloud services such as Dataflow, Datafusion, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage
  • Advanced Oracle SQL skills, including analytical functions
  • Performance tuning experience for both SQL queries and ETL jobs
  • Experience maintaining a core metadata model (e.g., RPD) across physical, logical, and presentation layers
