Provide manufacturing engineering leadership and support in new product and process introductions, process and product improvements, safety, and problem-solving to drive continuous improvement. Lead tool room, maintenance team, manufacturing engineering, and facilities groups. Strategic management of resources and capital. Oversight of projects, offering help and coaching. Act as a technical resource to address issues that impact product quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direction, coaching, and supervision to the team.
- Oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to ensure product functionality and cost efficiency.
- Ensure the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work together cohesively.
- Responsible for the capital budget for production and facilities. Develop and help determine equipment needs for manufacturing process.
- Leads cross-functional teams through all phases of project planning and implementation.
- Provide project status & risk assessments across the company.
- Work closely with all other departments within the company to ensure that manufactured products meet expectations (i.e., reliability, customer requirements, regulatory requirements, etc.)
- Develop plant area expertise. Provide support in new product launches and continuous improvement efforts.
- Keep informed as to developments in material/manufacturing advancements as they apply to the company.
- Manage and coordinate the administrative responsibilities and operational staff, building systems, and activities to ensure optimal functioning and maintenance of all building properties.
- Direct the maintenance of all building systems, including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management.
- Support the ISO 14001 environmental efforts during the manufacturing development and improvement process.
- Provide leadership in safe plant operations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors in engineering
- 3 years of experience supervising or managing a team
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred early career experience working as a manufacturing engineer.
- Experience in root cause analysis for problem-solving and DFMEA
Compensation & Benefits:
- $100,000 – 135,000/year base salary, plus a 10% estimated bonus based on company performance.
