Office Manager

Our Office Manager is the heartbeat of our office, creating an organized, welcoming, and enjoyable workplace. You’ll have meaningful autonomy and visibility, with the opportunity to proactively improve processes, support leadership, and elevate the employee experience.
As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing the day-to-day administrative operations of the office including but not limited to oversight and execution of receptionist activities, mail services, office supplies purchasing, technology support and general facilities.  This position will be part of Versique's Corporate Services team and will report to the HR Director.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all office-related needs while fully owning the day-to-day office environment — anticipating needs, identifying and resolving issues proactively, and ensuring the office operates efficiently with little to no direction.
  • Oversee front desk operations by creating a welcoming, professional, and engaging experience for all visitors and handling incoming calls
  • Plan and execute in-house and external company events, managing details from concept through completion
  • Play a key role in onboarding new employees by ensuring workspaces, technology, and access are fully set up and ready on day one
  • Manage and resolve physical IT-related issues (e.g., monitors, keyboards, batteries, phones, printers), escalating as needed and following through until resolved
  • Provide administrative support to executive leadership, including calendar management, travel arrangements, scheduling, and other tasks as needed
  • Support recruiters by reviewing and publishing job postings for consistency, accuracy, and grammatical quality
  • Proactively manage purchasing and inventory of office supplies and equipment (including supplies for our internal café), ensuring nothing runs out unexpectedly
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, contractors, and property management to oversee maintenance and repair of office equipment and facilities
  • Embrace and help cultivate a fun and dynamic company culture
  • Handle mail, shipping, and other ad-hoc tasks as needed — stepping in wherever support is required
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of administrative or office management experience
  • Experience in executive search, staffing, or another service-driven industry
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset — you see it, own it, and solve it
  • A proven track record of being highly dependable, with strong follow-through and accountability
  • A strong service mentality and a genuine desire to support others and go above and beyond when needed
  • The ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage responsibilities with little to no direction
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Clear, professional, and confident communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Location: St. Louis Park, MN

Schedule: Exempt, 0.8 FTE (4 days/week, Monday through Thursday onsite)

Salary: $52,000 to $60,000 based on experience and qualifications
