Roles & Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing transformation processes to enhance operational yield performance.
- Collaborating with plant management and corporate functions to define project scope, process design, capital, and expense estimates.
- Selecting contractors/vendors, specifying equipment.
- Coordinating execution plans with a focus on measurable results.
- Assess plant equipment and processes to identify deficiencies and improve raw material usage.
- Troubleshoot problems, design solutions, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop process designs, equipment specifications, and cost estimates for optimization and new installations.
- Follow up on projects, considering impacts on staff, quality, and safety, and manage budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Utilize data from equipment and ERP systems to monitor raw material losses and track yield efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Engineering degree (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering ideal)
- 3- 6 years of experience working in a plant with sanitary requirements (food, food grade products, pet, ag ingredients, etc.)
Salary: Depends on experience level, $90,000 – $124,000
This is an onsite position – no hybrid, reporting to the Corporate Director of Engineering.
