We are seeking an experienced Senior SCCM/Desktop Architect to join a dynamic IT Infrastructure team. This is a critical role for a seasoned professional who will have full ownership of the enterprise workstation infrastructure, serving their growing user base of approximately 6,000 employees across multiple locations.
Location: Twin Cities, MN – 100% onsite
Salary: $90 – 110k salary target

Role & Responsibilities:
- Complete ownership of SCCM/Desktop Architecture, including vulnerability scanning, patch management, endpoint management, and imaging solutions
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide desktop management systems and processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex SCCM imaging issues and deployment challenges
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability to support continued organizational growth
Strategic Planning & Implementation
- Identify and evaluate software solutions for vulnerability scanning, patch management, and endpoint security
- Provide detailed technical justification and business case documentation for recommended solutions
- Lead the implementation of new tools and technologies from planning through deployment
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all systems and processes
Security & Compliance
- Design and implement robust vulnerability scanning programs across all workstations
- Establish and maintain effective patch management strategies for enterprise endpoints
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices
- Collaborate with security teams to address identified vulnerabilities and threats
Technical Leadership
- Serve as the subject matter expert for all SCCM and desktop architecture matters
- Mentor and collaborate with team members on complex technical challenges
- Participate in strategic planning for IT infrastructure growth and evolution
- Contribute to the development of departmental standards and best practices
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years of dedicated experience as an SCCM/Desktop Architecture professional
- Senior-level expertise in enterprise desktop management (not entry-level desktop support)
- Proven track record of managing large-scale SCCM deployments and complex imaging environments
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and patch management systems
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Strong understanding of Windows operating system deployment and management
- Experience with endpoint management solutions and security tools
- Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and patch management methodologies
- Familiarity with enterprise networking and Active Directory environments
