We're seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer with expertise in supply chain analytics to join our Data and Analytics team. This role plays a critical part in shaping modern data practices and expanding enterprise reporting capabilities. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, leadership experience, and the ability to collaborate across departments. Work with a wide range of data tools to design scalable data pipelines, build dimensional models, and deliver insightful dashboards and reports that support strategic decision-making.
Worksite Location: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote – weekly, Southern MN
Salary Range:
- $120-$165K/yr

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing stakeholders to identify reporting needs and gather analytics requirements.
- Design and maintain scalable data models and warehouse structures across staging, warehouse, and semantic layers.
- Build and manage ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Google BigQuery, Python, Incorta, and Informatica.
- Construct robust data pipelines to ingest, transform, and prepare data from various sources for analysis.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for metric calculations and dimension attribute derivation.
- Ensure efficient batch and incremental data processing into enterprise data platforms.
- Maintain and enhance existing supply chain data solutions and reporting infrastructure.
- Develop high-performance dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Oracle BI, and other visualization platforms.
- Lead initiatives to improve data performance and troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Advocate for best practices in data engineering and support innovative uses of data across business units.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor'sBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience with advanced SQL for data transformation and querying.
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering within a data warehouse environment.
- Strong background in dimensional modeling and data pipeline design.
- Experience developing with Python, Informatica ETL, and/or Google BigQuery Dataproc.
- Familiarity with supply chain data domains such as logistics, procurement, inventory, and manufacturing.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional data initiatives.
- Proven organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and leadership experience.
Preferred:
- At least 5 years working with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Oracle BI, or Google Cloud Platform services.
- Experience working with O9 Solutions for data enablement.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud services like Dataflow, Datafusion, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
- Advanced Oracle SQL skills, including use of analytical functions.
- Experience tuning complex queries and ETL processes for performance.
- Knowledge of core metadata models in enterprise BI platforms such as OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition).
