As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial planning and analysis function. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for developing forecasts, dashboards, KPIs, and decision-support analysis that drive visibility and accountability across the business. You will collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to provide insights that help guide the company's strategic and operational decisions.
Worksite Location: This opportunity is in Eagan, MN. The client is open to hybrid work for the right candidate.
Salary: $90k - $110k/yr. base salary plus annual bonus
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CFO to build a robust FP&A capability from the ground up
- Own and enhance the company's forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes
- Develop and maintain dynamic financial models to evaluate business performance, strategic initiatives, and capital investments
- Design dashboards and reporting packages that provide actionable insights to executives and department leaders
- Support the month-end close and variance analysis with the accounting team to ensure a clear understanding of performance drivers
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling to support decision-making across pricing, product launches, vendor negotiations, and operational efficiencies
- Track and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) to align with company objectives
- Assist in the development of Board and investor reporting materials
- Contribute to financial systems and process improvement initiatives, including better leveraging Business Central and related tools
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
- 4–6 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably in a manufacturing, CPG, or private equity-backed environment
- Strong financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or comparable ERP systems
- Strong business acumen and ability to synthesize data into clear insights
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of working effectively across departments
- Self-starter with a bias for action and continuous improvement
