Senior QA Engineer (ID:47369)

We're seeking a Senior QA Engineer (Full Stack QA) with strong experience in web, mobile, and API testing to help ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure digital products. This position will focus on designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, from mobile and web frontends to backend architecture and third-party connections.

The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment (think start-up style) and is passionate about maintaining seamless testing practices and delivering reliable user experiences across all platforms.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 per year

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead quality assurance efforts for mobile and web applications, backend services, and third-party integrations.
• Design, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases for UI, API, and integration workflows.
• Validate end-to-end workflows across mobile, web, and backend systems.
• Maintain automation frameworks using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Appium, and Postman.
• Test third-party integrations using Postman, REST Assured, or SuperTest.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Manage test environments, mock servers, and test data.
• Track and report on quality metrics, including test coverage, defect rates, and release readiness.
• Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with developers to accelerate defect resolution.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to process improvements.
• Contribute to performance and security testing initiatives where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of professional software quality engineering or QA experience.
• Strong experience testing mobile and web applications.
• Proficiency in testing backend APIs and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL/SQL).
• Hands-on experience with automated UI and API testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Postman, REST Assured, SuperTest).
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools.
• Agile/Scrum experience and adherence to QA best practices.
• Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
