A well-established international organization seeks a highly capable Senior Systems Administrator / IT Operations Lead to oversee and support its IT infrastructure and service delivery. This is a 6-12 month contract position responsible for both infrastructure management and end-user support. Ideal candidates will bring a diverse technical background that includes strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven background in systems administration and IT operations.
Worksite Location: This position is primarily onsite at the Eagan office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with 1–2 weekly visits to the Maple Grove location. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Pay Range:
- $60-75/hr

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 environment.
- Manage and maintain Windows 10/11 workstations, Windows Server environments, and Hyper-V virtualized systems.
- Oversee upkeep and performance of physical servers.
- Configure and resolve issues related to LAN/WAN and WiFi networks.
- Support and maintain enterprise antivirus and endpoint protection solutions.
- Oversee mobile device management (MDM) systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot audio/visual and conference room technology.
- Act as a primary point of contact for technical issues via phone, email, or onsite visits.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems.
- Provide clear technical advice and assistance to end-users.
- Document incidents and solutions accurately through an IT ticketing system.
- Escalate unresolved issues as needed and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Develop user guides, FAQs, and training resources.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and staff engagement.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated success in managing IT infrastructure and delivering technical support.
- Hands-on experience with Hyper-V, Dell server hardware, Meraki network devices, and AWS environments.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and experience implementing security solutions.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and mentor.
- Experience supporting AV technologies, including Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and conference room setups.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Cisco Meraki and Palo Alto systems.
- Experience with Apple (macOS, iOS) and Android devices.
- Familiarity with NinjaONE or similar MDM platforms.
