We’re seeking a confident and collaborative Senior HR Generalist to serve as a true partner to both leadership and the shop floor. This role will serve as a key partner to leadership and employees by providing expertise in employee relations, talent management, compliance, training, and HR policy administration.

Location: Maple Grove, MN. Onsite 
Salary Range:  $100,000 - $120,000/yr.

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner with plant leadership to support workforce planning, employee engagement, and performance management strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.
  • Ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO) and maintain up-to-date records and documentation.
  • Lead and support talent acquisition efforts for hourly and salaried roles, including interviewing, onboarding, and orientation processes.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs and serve as an escalation point for employee questions or issues.
  • Champion employee development by facilitating training programs and supporting leadership development initiatives.
  • Drive employee retention efforts through proactive engagement, communication, and culture-building activities.
  • Analyze HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, safety data) and recommend solutions to improve productivity and morale.
  • Support health and safety initiatives in collaboration with EHS teams to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing HR process improvements that align with business goals.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; PHR/SPHR preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, hands-on, team-oriented environment.
