The Sr. Human Resources Business Partner will provide strategic and hands-on HR support across talent acquisition, organizational development, learning initiatives, and HR operations. This role partners with leaders to align talent strategies with business priorities, supports leadership development, drives engagement, and manages full-cycle recruitment for professional and leadership roles. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced, regulated environments and enjoy building scalable HR programs from the ground up.
Worksite Location: Remote/Hybrid with periodic travel to Madison, Wisconsin site for collaboration with HR Leader
Salary Range: $120K – $140K base salary + up to 10% bonus potential

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders in Sales & Marketing, L&D, and OD to align talent strategies with organizational goals
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for leadership and professional roles, ensuring a smooth candidate and onboarding experience
- Build HR infrastructure to support a rapidly growing U.S. workforce, including HRIS implementation and operational processes
- Drive leadership development, succession planning, and change management initiatives
- Develop and execute engagement strategies to enhance culture and retention
- Coach and counsel managers, supporting performance management and employee relations with professionalism and confidentiality
- Monitor employee engagement and provide insights for continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment law, and internal procedures while fostering an inclusive workplace
- Partner with leaders to assess learning needs, develop programs, and implement initiatives that build organizational capability
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (HR certification preferred, e.g., SHRM-SCP or SPHR)
- 8+ years of HR experience, preferably in life sciences or a regulated industry
- Proven experience as an HRBP supporting Sales & Marketing or business teams
- Strong skills in leadership development, change management, and employee engagement
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment and talent review processes
- HR generalist expertise with the ability to handle complex employee relations independently
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly organized, solutions-oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and facilitation skills with the ability to influence at all levels
