Technical Product Owner
We're seeking a Technical Product Owner to lead the delivery of digital products & enterprise applications. The Technical Product Owner partners closely with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into a prioritized backlog that drives measurable business value. The ideal candidate has experience in both internal platforms and customer-facing or enterprise-scale digital products and is comfortable balancing technical and business priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Worksite Location: Minneapolis, MN, or Fully Remote available
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and prioritize the product backlog for digital products and enterprise applications, including internal systems and integrations.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and business teams to decompose initiatives into clear, actionable user stories.
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and ongoing prioritization activities.
- Partner with stakeholders across IT and business functions to align priorities and outcomes.
- Translate high-level business needs into technical requirements while maintaining ownership of the solution.
- Manage dependencies across systems, integrations, and upstream/downstream platforms.
- Support solution validation to ensure delivered products meet functional and technical requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner or similar Agile role.
- Proven success delivering digital products, enterprise applications, or internal platforms.
- Strong experience partnering with engineering teams on technical concepts, integrations, and system dependencies.
- Demonstrated ability to own backlog prioritization and make scope and sequencing decisions.
- Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments (user stories, sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement).
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on outcomes and business value.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ERP, CRM, SaaS platforms, or other enterprise-scale software.
- Exposure to APIs, integrations, or middleware.
- Experience in regulated or complex enterprise environments.
- CSPO or equivalent Agile certification.
