The Vice President of Human Resources is a key member of the executive leadership team, overseeing all human resources functions across both clinical and non-clinical job classes. The role provides strategic direction and operational leadership for recruiting, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, workforce planning, HR compliance, employee relations, management training, performance management, policy development, and HR communications. The VPHR works closely with executive leadership to strategically align HR objectives with business goals, ensuring the company's culture attracts, develops, and retains best-in-class team members. Internally and externally, the VPHR must represent, embody, and champion core values, creating a culture that supports our clients' recognition as a premier destination.
Worksite Location: Bloomington, MN - Hybrid.
Salary Range: $200,000-230,000/yr. Base salary plus 20% bonus potential and accelerated 401k match.

Roles & Responsibilities: The VPHR has operational oversight and accountability for the following:
- Strategic Human Capital Leadership – Lead workforce planning, culture, and engagement across all clinical and non-clinical job classes, serving as a key liaison between leadership, physicians, and staff
- Talent Acquisition & Retention – Oversee recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies while driving equity and diversity initiatives to attract and retain top talent
- Compensation & Benefits – Develop and manage compensation philosophy, benefit programs, and market benchmarking to remain competitive and sustainable
- Performance Management & Development – Implement evaluation systems, corrective action processes, professional development, mentorship, and succession planning
- HR Operations & Technology – Direct HRIS systems, data analytics, and vendor management to optimize HR processes and decision-making
- Policy, Compliance & Leave Management – Establish policies, manage leave programs, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws
- Executive Leadership & Collaboration – Provide strategic input to the COO, CEO, and Board, collaborate with legal counsel, and align HR with organizational priorities across departments
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's Degree preferred) in Human Resource Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in human resources management with strategic, talent management, and business development experience
- HR Certifications, such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification (SPHR), are preferred
- Healthcare human resources management experience is a plus.
- Proven senior HR experience
- Deep understanding of employment legislation, legal regulations, and employment relations
- Skilled in budget preparation and fiscal management
- Premier interpersonal, presentation, writing, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Proficient in HRIS systems, preferably UKG
