Senior Finance Operations Specialist
Sarah Scott is Versique’s Senior Finance Operations Specialist and leads a variety of accounting and finance functions for the company. She brings a range of experience to the table. Sarah started her career in public accounting at KPMG, auditing clients in various industries. Her main client was in the hospitality industry, which allowed her the opportunity to travel frequently for work right out of college. After leaving KPMG, Sarah has since spent a few years in the services industry gaining relevant experience. She has found her niche at growing companies where she can gain exposure to multiple different aspects of accounting and finance, while also contributing to growth and implementing necessary process improvements.
Sarah earned her degree from the University of Dubuque with double major in Accounting and Human Resources.

If you weren’t working at Versique what would you be doing?
If I weren’t working at Versique I would open a coffee cart/truck or a stand-alone coffee shop. I love trying out new recipes at home, and I love that coffee shops can bring people together and serve many different purposes.
What’s your favorite TV show?
Totally different shows, but it’s a tie between Law and Order : SVU or Emily in Paris on Netflix.
What’s your favorite memory?
Bringing home my dog Lucy as a kid. She was the first family dog we had that I got to pick out myself and she was so small I could dress her in American Girl Doll clothes. As a 10 year old, it was the best day ever…until she grew out of the clothes only three days later because Lucy girl loves to eat.
