Versique Volunteers for Simon Says Give’s High Five for Supplies Event
August 7, 2015
August 7, 2015 – The Versique team joined Simon Says Give for their High Five for Supplies drive. Our employees spent the afternoon packing up backpacks to donate to children in need so they will be prepared for the first day of school.
Volunteers from all over the Twin Cities joined Simon Says Give to pack more than 4,488 backpacks in just one weekend! This year’s goal is to provide 10,000 children with the supplies they need for the new school year. Donations to the High Five for Supplies drive can be provided by contacting the organization’s website: http://www.simonsaysgive.org/
Simon Says Give was founded by Mandi Simon when she was just seven years old to provide birthday party kits, school supplies, and leadership development to children in need. The organization now hosts fundraising events throughout the year and have thrown over 500 birthday parties for children who might otherwise not get a celebration.
