Director of Sales (ID:45620)
A global leader in a niche market is looking for a strategic Sales leader to see the company into the future.

Our retained client is a manufacturer of specialty capital equipment that's sold through indirect sales channels. They are seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to maintain their global market share and expand service offerings.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the overall sales strategy within a niche industry marketplace
  • Establish and build relationships with any new and existing partners
  • Conduct a competitive analysis of the market and guide any changes
  • Build business through direct equipment and aftermarket offerings
  • Solidify relationships with existing OEM partners and other sales channels
  • Work with internal and external customers to provide best-in-class products and service


Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of sales experience in capital equipment or industrial markets (preferably in the electro-mechanical space)
  • Ability to work with internal and external customers to provide excellent customer service
  • Experience selling through indirect sales channels and distribution network
  • Very high level of technical aptitude
  • 4-year degree required (technical or engineering degree preferred)
  • Background in solution, value-add sales
  • Ability to travel upwards of 40% (International travel required)
  • Basic computer knowledge (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
