Our retained client is a worldwide leader in its niche industry, and it is asking Versique to help it find its next high-level Service Manager to take its team to the next level.
Our client is a world leader in designing and building specialty manufacturing equipment.  They have a large presence worldwide and are looking to bring in a top-tier Field Service leader to lead their already high-performing team.  This is a role that requires people to be onsite when they are not traveling 

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate installation, training, and service delivery to customers both at the customer site and remotely. 
  • Support field service activities by ensuring the service technician and customer have all materials and information required for a successful installation or service visit. 
  • Manage and perform product assembly, installation, training, and service. 
  • Provide training to service technicians. 
  • Communicate with customers in a professional and timely manner. 
  • Provide technical support of marketing and selling activities. 
  • Provide input on product improvements, new features, or new products that would contribute further to our customer's success. 
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 2-year technical degree required (Advanced degree preferred)
  • 10+ years experience in a service role within a manufacturing environment 
  • High level of electro-mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with assembly and installations
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and schematics
  • Experience with extremely tight tolerance machining
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30 % of the time nationally and internationally by airplane and/or car and sometimes on short notice. Travel may be (2) weeks long in some cases. 
  • Must possess a US Passport. 
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
