Finance Manager
Our client is seeking a Finance Manager to serve as a strategic business partner to the Brand Marketing organization. This role will work closely with marketing and finance leadership to drive profitable growth through financial planning, business analysis, and commercial decision support. The Finance Manager will provide insights into business performance, evaluate growth opportunities, support innovation initiatives, and help optimize investments across a portfolio of established consumer brands. In addition to leading key financial processes, this position will manage and develop a small team while fostering strong cross-functional partnerships throughout the organization.
Worksite Location:
South Metro, MN – Hybrid (In-office three days/week)
Salary:$95,000 – $140,000 annually

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Partner with Brand Marketing leadership to provide financial guidance and support strategic business initiatives
• Evaluate pricing strategies, promotional investments, and market opportunities to improve business performance
• Develop meaningful financial insights by analyzing trends, variances, and key performance indicators
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities for assigned business segments
• Assess the financial viability of new products and innovation initiatives while providing recommendations to leadership
• Monitor marketing investments and recommend adjustments to maximize return on spend
• Conduct financial modeling and ad hoc analyses to support evolving business priorities
• Build strong relationships across Finance, Marketing, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to drive informed decision-making
• Lead regular business reviews and clearly communicate financial risks and opportunities
• Manage, mentor, and develop two direct reports while fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and enhance reporting capabilities
• Support strategic projects and business initiatives as organizational needs evolve
Required Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, strategic planning, or commercial finance roles
• Strong foundation in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis
• Experience supporting commercial or marketing organizations preferred
• Knowledge of trade spend management and promotional analysis is a plus
• Retail or Consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience preferred
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and influence others
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills; experience with enterprise planning tools is beneficial
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable recommendations
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with confidence presenting to business leaders
• Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
