Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the administration of employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other ancillary benefits.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective benefits communication strategies.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave of absence inquiries.
- Administer and coordinate various types of leaves, such as medical leave, parental leave, and disability accommodation.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations governing leaves of absence.
- Stay informed about changes in benefits and leave of absence laws and regulations.
- Develop, update, and communicate policies related to benefits and LOA.
- Conduct training sessions for employees and managers on benefits and LOA policies.
- Analyze benefits and LOA data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports to leadership on the effectiveness of benefit programs.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Benefits and LOA Consultant, preferably in a corporate setting.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations related to employee benefits and leaves of absence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
