Interim HRIS Optimization Consultant
The Interim HRIS Optimization Consultant will provide hands-on support for HR technology initiatives, system optimization, and process improvements within a complex HR environment. This role will focus on evaluating current system functionality, improving workflows, supporting data integrity, documenting processes, and preparing the organization for future HR technology enhancements. The consultant will work closely with HR leadership, internal stakeholders, and external technology partners to ensure systems are configured efficiently and support a seamless employee experience.
Worksite Location: Hybrid - must be local to the Twin Cities
Salary Range: Hourly rate between $53-$65, DOE

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and optimize HRIS workflows, processes, and system functionality
- Partner with HR leadership and business stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities
- Support HR technology initiatives, system enhancements, and future-state planning
- Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and system documentation
- Assist with data cleanup, process standardization, and system governance
- Analyze employee lifecycle processes and recommend improvements to efficiency and user experience
- Partner with software vendors and implementation teams to troubleshoot issues and improve functionality
- Support reporting, analytics, and system adoption efforts
- Provide recommendations around process automation and technology utilization
- Help prepare the organization for future HR technology transitions and upgrades
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven HRIS, HR Technology, or HR Systems consulting experience
- Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP platforms
- Experience supporting HR system optimization, implementation, or migration initiatives
- Ability to analyze workflows and recommend scalable process improvements
- Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR operations
- Experience developing SOPs, documentation, and governance processes
- Strong project management and stakeholder partnership skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently in a consulting environment
