HR Consultant
The HR Consultant will provide part-time interim support across a variety of HR functions during a period of organizational growth and transition. This role will focus on reviewing and improving HR policies, onboarding processes, leave administration practices, compliance efforts, and overall HR operations. The consultant will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, identifying opportunities for improvement while helping execute key HR initiatives.
Worksite Location: Hybrid - Twin Cities Metro, MN
Salary Range: Hourly rate between $60-$70, DOE

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review and enhance HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation
- Assess current HR processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and consistency
- Support onboarding, employee experience, and talent management initiatives
- Provide guidance on leave administration, compliance, and employee relations matters
- Partner with leadership to identify HR priorities and execute key projects
- Develop and update employee handbooks, policies, and supporting documentation
- Help establish scalable HR processes to support future growth
- Support compliance with state and federal employment regulations
- Serve as an HR advisor and resource for leadership on a variety of people-related matters
- Assist with additional HR projects and operational needs as they arise
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven broad-based HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or HR Consultant experience
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employee relations, onboarding, and HR operations
- Experience reviewing and updating employee handbooks, policies, and HR documentation
- Familiarity with leave administration, including paid leave programs and related compliance requirements
- Ability to assess current-state processes and recommend practical solutions
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing priorities with minimal oversight
- Experience supporting small to mid-sized organizations preferred
