Our client is looking for an interim HR Manager. In this role, the consultant will be pivotal in championing the company culture and supporting the employees through various HR functions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about all aspects of HR, including payroll and benefits administration. This person will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the organization by providing strategic HR guidance and ensuring that HR processes align with the company's values.
Worksite Location: Minneapolis, MN – Hybrid Opportunity; Seeking Minnesota / Twin Cities based candidate.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for employees, providing HR guidance and support.
  • Address employee concerns and conflicts in a compassionate and timely manner, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment, communication, and vendor relationships.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance our benefits offerings and attract top talent.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with legal requirements and organizational objectives.
  • Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Support recruitment by collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and attract qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, training, and integration into the organization.
  • Partner with senior management to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives and foster employee engagement.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of HR practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably in a small organization setting.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of empathy and emotional intelligence.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
