Long Term Care Pharmacy President (ID:45317)
A Senior Executive opportunity to drive the continued growth and success of a market disruptor long term care pharmacy. Lead efforts to provide comprehensive and innovative solutions for clients and residents. Develop and mentor new and existing team members to ensure collaboration and organizational excellence.

The President reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is subject to his direction. The President will have general supervision, management, direction, and control of the company's business and affairs.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Leading short-term and long-range strategic planning processes and utilizing financial forecasting to develop and support strategic business objectives.
  • Driving business performance through measurement of customer satisfaction, customer growth, geographic expansion, delivery accuracy, profitability, and total value.
  • Fostering employee accountability and growth and a strong corporate culture built around the company's core values.
  • Assessing facility needs, capacity utilization, production scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Build a recognizable brand in all key markets.
  • Develop and maintain an organizational structure staffed with excellent personnel who can execute strategic initiatives to achieve company goals.
  • Recommend personnel policies, employee benefits, and compensation programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and government agencies.
  • Participating in sales and marketing to promote a favorable image with customers, employees, and the communities in which the company operates. Participating in civic activities and industrial association events.
  • Keep informed of general business and economic trends and evaluate their potential effects on the company.
  • Remain aware of current technology and processes in the industry.
  • Responsible for overseeing the preparation of annual budgets and financial reports and the creation and operation of appropriate financial reporting and processes.
  • Display leadership posture and decision-making skills to lead the company with confidence.
  • Being knowledgeable of and paying attention to tax liabilities and opportunities for the company.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Licensed pharmacist in the state of MN
  • Specific long-term care pharmacy experience skills. Strong understanding and prior involvement in:
  • Licensing and credentialing knowledge
  • PBM contracting
  • Prime Vendor Agreement contracting knowledge
  • LTC operations
  • LTC billing (Medicare/DME/Medicaid/Private)
  • Pricing for new customers
  • Interpersonal Skills

Need to be comfortable in the following environments:

  • Small business
  • Entrepreneurial environment
  • Customer interactions – The President must reach out to customers and interact with leadership regularly
  • Build collaborative, internal teams and disseminate information effectively.
