Fractional HR Generalist/Payroll Consultant
The Fractional HR Generalist/Payroll Consultant will provide ongoing part?time support across payroll administration, benefits coordination, and day?to?day HR operations. This role will serve as a key resource to leadership and employees, helping ensure smooth HR and payroll processes while supporting a positive employee experience. The ideal consultant is comfortable operating independently, managing multiple responsibilities, and providing hands?on support within a small business environment.
Worksite Location: Hybrid – White Bear Lake, MN (Local candidates only)
Salary Range: Hourly rate between $50-$70, DOE

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Process and administer payroll through ADP Run
- Support employee benefits administration, enrollments, and employee questions
- Serve as a primary point of contact for day?to?day HR inquiries
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and compliance-related processes
- Partner with leadership on HR operations and employee support needs
- Assist with onboarding, employee communications, and general HR administration
- Support payroll audits, reporting, and payroll-related issue resolution
- Help maintain continuity and consistency during a key staffing transition
- Provide practical, hands?on HR support as organizational needs arise
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven HR Generalist experience within small or mid-sized organizations
- Strong payroll administration experience, preferably with ADP Run
- Experience supporting employee benefits and leave-related inquiries
- Ability to work independently and manage a broad range of HR responsibilities
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Comfortable serving as a trusted HR and payroll resource in a lean environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
- Ability to balance ongoing payroll responsibilities with general HR support
- Experience operating in a fractional, standalone, or highly autonomous HR role is a plus
