Interim Human Resources Generalist

We are searching for a strong Interim HR Generalist to join our clients' team! This opportunity is perfect for a hands-on, detail-oriented HR professional who enjoys owning day-to-day HR operations while serving as a trusted resource to managers and employees. You’ll step into a highly visible role providing critical leave coverage for a manufacturing organization, ensuring seamless benefits administration, HR processes, and employee support during a key transition period.

The Interim HR Generalist will provide comprehensive HR coverage supporting a well known manufacturing organization. This consultant will manage end-to-end HR administrative responsibilities and confidently navigate LOA considerations in partnership with a third-party administrator to keep things running smoothly. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable operating independently while maintaining strong communication with leadership and employees.

Worksite Location: Hybrid - Minneapolis, MN

Salary Range: Hourly rate between $35-$40, DOE

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day HR administration for small manufacturing organization
  • Process new hires, terminations, and employee file updates in Paylocity
  • Administer benefits, including enrollments, terminations, and employee support
  • Manage and coordinate leaves of absence in collaboration with a third-party administrator
  • Support light/full-cycle recruiting activities including job postings, LinkedIn Lite sourcing, drafting job ads, and backfill hiring as needed
  • Provide responsive HR support to managers and employees across a variety of HR matters

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong HR Generalist experience with end-to-end HR administrative execution
  • Proven, hands-on experience with Paylocity
  • Benefits administration experience including vendor partnership and employee support
  • Experience managing leaves of absence and coordinating with third-party administrators
  • Comfortable supporting light recruiting and job posting activities
