Looking for a Systems Administrator who wants to do more than keep the lights on. In this fully remote role, you'll own and optimize a critical ManageEngine environment, influence IT service strategy, and drive process improvements that have a direct impact across the organization.
Systems Administrator
Mendota Heights, MN – REMOTE
We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support and improve our IT service management environment. This role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization's ManageEngine platform, evaluating existing workflows and processes, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who can work independently, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and take ownership of driving operational improvements. We're looking for someone who can quickly assess challenges, provide recommendations, and ensure the platform and related processes are supporting the needs of the business.
Worksite Location: Mendota Heights, MN – REMOTE
Hourly Rate: $45-55 DOE

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Administer, support, and optimize the organization's ManageEngine environment.
- Assess current ticketing, workflow, and service management processes and recommend improvements.
- Monitor system performance, reporting, and operational effectiveness to ensure the platform is delivering value to the business.
- Develop and document IT service management procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Partner with IT leadership and end users to identify pain points and implement solutions.
- Create visibility into system usage, service levels, and operational metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across help desk and IT support functions.
- Troubleshoot technical and process-related issues and proactively resolve problems.
- Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for operational excellence within the IT organization.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting ManageEngine products, preferably within a ticketing or IT service management environment.
- Strong understanding of IT operations, service desk workflows, and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience evaluating existing systems and implementing operational enhancements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive change.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience creating operational documentation, workflows, and process standards.
- Systems administration experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
