Global Controller

This highly visible leadership role will oversee global accounting operations, compliance, and financial reporting while partnering closely with executive leadership to help scale processes across an international organization. The Global Controller will serve as a key finance leader responsible for overseeing the global accounting functions and financial operations. This role will lead accounting operations, global consolidations, internal controls, compliance, and financial reporting while partnering closely with business leaders across international regions. The ideal candidate will bring strong global manufacturing experience, deep technical accounting expertise, and a collaborative leadership style capable of scaling teams and processes within a growing global organization.

Worksite Location: This hybrid opportunity is based in Eden Prairie, MN

Salary Range: $200K - $240K/yr base salary plus bonus

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Oversee global accounting functions including Accounting, Accounts Payable, Data Governance, and Consolidation & Reporting teams 
•Provide leadership and indirect oversight to international accounting teams across multiple global locations
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Define and implement global accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across regions
• Manage intercompany transactions, consolidations, and transfer pricing activities
• Lead annual external audit processes and ensure compliance with US GAAP and statutory reporting requirements
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls and scalable financial processes across the organization
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, IT, HR, and Operations teams on process improvement and automation initiatives
• Support acquisition and divestiture activities including due diligence, integration, and valuation support
• Assist with annual budgeting processes, balance sheet oversight, and cash flow forecasting
• Prepare and present internal and external financial reporting and analysis to executive leadership
• Support Corporate HR initiatives related to 401(k), ESOP, insurance, and risk management programs
• Mentor, develop, and scale a high-performing accounting organization globally
• Serve as a strategic business partner to regional business leaders and support market-specific financial strategies
• Lead special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned

Required Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Active CPA certification required
• Master’s degree preferred
• 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
• Strong experience within global manufacturing and multi-entity organizations
• Experience with foreign currency translation and international consolidations
• Public accounting audit experience preferred
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Experience developing and implementing internal controls and scalable accounting processes
• Strong ERP and financial systems knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams
• Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional partnership skills
• Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, and strategic growth initiatives preferred
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
