Interim Accounting Manager (ID:45434)
We have a great opportunity for a six-month Accounting Manager to lead all accounting activities at a growing and well-respected company.
Work will involve reviewing and approving journal entries and account reconciliations, including providing review comments to staff on improvements and ensuring completeness and accuracy of data. That documentation is proper and up to the standard of external audit review. It may also include some preparation of specific journal entries and account reconciliations. I am looking for someone who is versatile and can easily step in when asked, whether it is preparation, review, or a project/process improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review and approval of journal entries and reconciliations
- Proper documentation for accruals
- Identify gaps and areas for improvement
- Lead process improvements
- Not directly leading the team, but will coach and mentor
- Review entries and share feedback
- 7+ years experience in accounting, including review and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Experience implementing process improvements and building robust purpose and procedure documentation
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and analytical ability
- Previous experience with SAP is preferred.
- Strong Excel skills
- Accounting/Finance/related field degree
